Aurora made it two in a row Friday night, going 1-0 in the district at the same time.
The Huskies put out a stout defensive effort, holding Adams Central scoreless in the second half of a 21-7 win at home Friday.
After Aurora fell behind 7-0, the Huskies finished the night with 21 unanswered, including three scores from Canon Allen, all coming in the second quarter.
Unofficially, Booker Scheierman threw for 198 yards while both Allen and Parker Smith were above 70 yards receiving.
High Plains visited Giltner for a big area matchup as the Storm rolled, 61-14
HPC totaled 35 points in the opening quarter alone, moving its record to 4-2 while the Hornets fall to 0-6.
Hampton kicked off week six of the high school football season a day early and most importantly, didn't disappoint.
It was a slow start, but the Hawk offense picked up the pace and rolled on the road at Shelton Thursday, 45-34.
Jack Bullis was a menace on the ground for Hampton, scoring three times while adding a touchdown pass to his total. Wyatt Dose also found success through the air, throwing a pair of touchdowns to Bryce Joseph.
The Hawks move to 4-1 on the season with a huge home test next week against Stuart.
