Hampton scored, and scored, and scored to open the 2024 season Friday night.

Hawk senior Jack Bullis found pay dirt eight times as Hampton picked up a 72-28 win at Parkview Christian, highlighting the area's efforts to start the 2024 fall football season. 

Hampton will have a bye week next Friday before its home opener against Harvard Sept. 13. 

Aurora and Pierce were locked in a C1 battle Friday night as the Jays eventually wore down the Huskies in a 41-28 showdown. 

Booker Scheierman was responsible for all four Aurora touchdowns on the night, including a 47-yard scramble. It won't get any easier for Aurora, traveling to McCook next Friday. 

High Plains picked up a road win to start the season while Giltner dropped its home opener.
