Aurora Cooperative Juniors chasing consistency

The Aurora Cooperative Juniors team battled hard through three games in a two-day stretch over the weekend.
In all, the Aurora Cooperative Post 42 Juniors team lost 18-5 to Grand Island June 15, an 8-4 game to Gering Saturday as well as a 10-2 game versus Hastings Saturday before losing 10-1 at home to Wood River Sunday.
Aurora Cooperative Juniors coach Bodie Moeller pointed out that despite losing all four games last week, he considered much of it to be good baseball on Aurora’s part.
“We have to continue to do the little things right. When we do that, those breaks will come our way,” Moeller said. “We have to make plays. We have some chances to lay out and make plays and we aren’t doing that yet.”
Looking back at the Wood River game from Mitchell Field Sunday, the game was competitive early on.
