Those attending the Phillips Village Board meeting last Tuesday night, June 4 discovered a shakeup in village trustee and fire department personnel caused by last month’s abrupt resignation of Jason Fry as both trustee and Phillips Fire Chief.

Synergen Green Energy Inc. is temporarily pausing development activities on the planned ammonia plant project on Highway 34 just west of Aurora, company officials announced Tuesday in a press release.

County declares state of emergency regarding damage done in May storm
