A changing of the guard occurred Thursday at a downtown business as Angie Wall purchased Honeysuckle Lane from long-time owner Bonnie Bamesberger.

Comfort station proposed at Poco Creek Golf Course

Fund-raising efforts have begun for a “comfort station” to be built at Poco Creek Golf Course in memory of Kyle Ediger.The former Hampton teacher and coach enjoyed golfing and was a member of the local course, where he participated in both the Monday and Thursday men’s leagues.

Small increases sought for sheriff, dispatch, jail budgets

Vehicle supply chain issues and the difficulty of filling some positions has led to budget savings for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office as well as other functions under the supervision of Sheriff Jeromy McCoy.
Six students were selected by the Edgerton to attend the launch of the GOES-U satellite at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The sky’s the limit to what can be learned from space. At the launch of the GOES-U satellite on June 25, two students from Aurora were able to be a part of NASA’s latest step towards new discoveries.

Figure 8 racing returns to Aurora

Nebraska Figure 8 auto racing is coming back to Aurora where it all began more than 30 years ago. The NeFigure8n racing association has announced that it will be bringing its 2024 championships back to the Hamilton County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug.
