Sixpence family consultant Lisa Kluck stated that the expenses of her program will switch from the Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership to Aurora Public Schools on July 1, representing a subtle but significant change.
This is a move, she explained, that will get more families to sing along with an organization designed to help parents navigate raising children before preschool.
“The main reason we did that is to continue to build the early childhood program here at Aurora Public Schools,” she said. “They have a great preschool program, so we thought the Sixpence program would be a great addition to that. I work with the parents to make sure their kids are hitting all their milestones to help ensure they are ready to transition into preschool.”
