Giltner School Board members approved a plan last week to convert the current bus barn on Hadley Avenue to an ag classroom as a first step in securing a new ag program for Giltner Public School.
“You’re (school board members) just approving ‘the okay’ for us to get quotes and be productive, move forward, be proactive with it,” Supt. Nick Mumm said at the July 12 meeting.
The vehicles currently housed in the bus barns will be taken out and stored at Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) to hold at least two buses and two vans, according to Mumm. It was communicated at the meeting that there may be a new bus barn built later on.
