The Junior Leadership Academy at Aurora High School invited a familiar face back to the building last week for a lesson in leadership.
Former Husker and NFL legend DeMoine Adams was on hand to teach such a topic and do so with his blackshirt on, hat turned backwards and the rapt attention of every student in the room.
“What speaker have you ever had wearing shades, with his hat turned to the back with a blackshirt and some Jays on?” Adams asked. “Have you ever had a speaker this cool? I want you all to understand that leadership is the new cool.”
