Adalyn Ruth Erpelding passed away at her home in Wymore on Aug. 24, 2020. She was born on Aug. 15, 2020 in Lincoln to Chris Erpelding and Dawn (Hollman) Rakes. From day one, Adalyn was a fighter.

Eldon E. Elsberry, 79, of Central City died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020 at his daughter’s home. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 24, 2020 at 10 a.m. at the Heartland Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Zeke Pipher. Visitation was Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at the Church.

Kay Lee Brandt, 59 of rural Phillips was called home on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020 following a courageous battle with cancer. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27 at All Faiths Funeral Home. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

Christopher James Rikli, 44, of Dallas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Feb. 26, 2020, in Ouray, Colo. Chris was born May 29, 1975, in Kearney, to James and Sue (Wiebe) Rikli and grew up at El Charman Lake, Gibbon. He graduated from John Brown University, Siloam Springs, Ark.

Donald Miller, age 89, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2020, at the Veterans Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Westside Covenant Church, 1009 1st Street, Aurora. Pastor Karl Larson officiated.

Patricia Oswald

Funeral services for Patricia Oswald were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 at the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Pastor Michelle Reed officiated. Interment was in the Aurora Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the United Methodist Church, 1104 A Street, Aurora.

Alan B. Cram, 69, of Phillips passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2020 at Emmanuel Hospital in Omaha as the result of an accidental fall at his home. A celebration of life and time of sharing was held at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at All Faiths Funeral Home in Grand Island. Pastor Tim Wegenast officiated.

Neil W. Bankson, 84, of Central City, formerly of Hordville, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Fridhem Lutheran Church in Hordville, with Pastor Ruth Boettcher officiating.
