Aurora survived oppressive heat, humidity and a huge Ralston front line Friday night to post a hard-earned 29-16 win on the road.“Ralston is a very physical football team and we were the more physical team tonight,” coach Kyle Peterson said after the Huskies first-ever game against the Rams.

Things certainly didn’t get any easier for the Aurora volleyball team in the second week of the regular season.The Lady Huskies kicked things off with a competitive, four-set loss at Omaha Skutt Catholic Sept. 1 before following that up with a wild, thrilling five-set win at York Thursday.
