The first nail in Hamilton County’s version of a tiny house could be hammered in beginning next week as village board members consider zoning proposals that would allow construction of tiny houses and/or container housing units in their respective communities.

Back in session at the start of a new year, the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners began Monday’s meeting with a lengthy executive session to discuss the response of the Merrick County Board of Supervisors on proposed changes to the 911 interlocal agreement between the neighboring counties.
