Aurora farmer Mitch Oswald has been busy with more than the normal goings on for the last year and a half.

The past few hail storms have taken a noticeable toll on local producers and residents alike. While those not watching their crops checked for dents in cars and holes in siding, farmers like Mitch Oswald have been making big decisions in a short window.

Planting season in the books; status quo for now

As the weather warms up and the calendar turns into the summer months, most every farmer in Hamilton County has wrapped up their planting season.  Fresh out of a unique set of circumstances in 2020 -- flooding, a pandemic -- local voices also expressed contentment with the “status quo.

Jeremy Oswald’s last high school victory will be one to remember.  It wasn’t for a state title, or even for a medal. It was for career win No. 100 in front of a state wrestling crowd.
