Jeremy Oswald’s last high school victory will be one to remember.
It wasn’t for a state title, or even for a medal. It was for career win No. 100 in front of a state wrestling crowd.
Oswald won his 100th career match in the opening round of the state wrestling championships Friday at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. In fact, just about 90 minutes later, fellow Husky Brekyn Papineau also won his 100th match in similar fashion.
Aurora coach Derek Keasling pointed out it was fun to see someone like Oswald, who has put so much into the Husky wrestling program, have the sport give him something back.
