Mack Owens was a problem all night for Norris.

The Husky junior totaled 168 yards on 33 carries and accounted for all four Aurora touchdowns as the Huskies defeated Norris 28-21 Friday night in the Class B quarterfinals.

A gusty wind out of the south through the entire game shaped how both teams called the game offensively as the visiting Huskies had another dominant night on the ground.

Aurora ran the ball more than 50 times Friday night, amassing 227 yards on the ground with 370 total yards.

The Huskies also stood tall defensively, holding a potent Norris attack to just 181 total yards, including 54 rushing yards.

Aurora led 15-7 after the first before Norris rallied to a 22-21 deficit at the half. The Huskies shut out the Titans in the second half with the lone score coming from an Owens rush in the third.

The Huskies advance to the Class B semifinals and will host Plattsmouth Friday night. The other Class B semifinal features Hastings vs Elkhorn.
