William 'Brad' Buchanan

Jim Ptacnik, age 78, of Aurora, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at CHI Health St. Francis is Grand Island. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, December 2nd at the Aurora First Chrisian Church in Aurora.   Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

James Sweeney

James Sweeney, age 70, of Aurora, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at his home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 3 at the Chapel of Higby-McQuiston Mortuary.  Rev. Penny Schulz will officiate. Interment will be in the Farmers Valley Cemetery east of Stockham.

Douglas Robert Moss, born July 9,1960, in Grand Island, to Robert and Patricia Moss, passed away peacefully at Memorial Community Care in Aurora, after a courageous 20 year battle with Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m.

Jacqueline “Jacque” S. Krance, 61 of Central City, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 surrounded by her family at Bryan Medical Center West Hospital in Lincoln. Cremation has been held. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
