With great sadness, we share the passing of our incomparable husband, father and friend Blake Wilde. Blake died on January 22, 2026, surrounded by family and friends at his home in Lincoln, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

A funeral service for Thomas L. Heaston will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home in Holdrege, with Chaplain DeWane Dow officiating. An interment with military honors will be held at the Arbor Cemetery at Stockville, overlooking Medicine Creek.

Vincent Seiker, of Lincoln, died peacefully in his home in Lincoln, at the age of 97 on Sunday, January 4, 2026. Vincent was born on April 3, 1928, at home in Elmwood, to Mary Cecilia (Stander) and Edward Theodore Seiker. He attended Elmwood Public School and graduated in 1945.
