Kevin L. Margritz, 52, of Giltner passed away at his home Saturday, December 20, 2025. Visitation will be on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 5-7 p.m. with family present at Livingston Funeral Home in Hastings. A memorial service celebrating Kevin’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Edwin C. Heiden, 78, of Sterling, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 5, 2026, at a Lincoln hospital.  He was born on February 2, 1947, at York and graduated from Hampton High School in 1965.  He then attended SCC Milford studying electrical technology.

Mrs. Betty R. Crawford passed away on Saturday, Jan 3, 2026, at the age of 91.  Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Burial will be held in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.

James “Jim” Marshall Coleman, 59, of Grand Island, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center. Jim had been battling cancer since March of 2023.Per Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

Robert Runion, Jr.

Robert Runion, Jr., 65, of Aurora, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident in Hall County. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2 at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Grand Island, with Rev. Don Buhrman officiating.

Robert Schneider, 93, of Aurora, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025, at Memorial Community Care.  Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, Dec. 29th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Aurora. Rev. Mark Seiker will officiate. Interment will be in the Aurora Cemetery.

Billy Manka

Billy Thomas Manka was born February 4, 1943, and passed away peacefully at Westfield Quality Care in Aurora, on December 22, 2025 at the age of 82. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.   Higby-McQuiston Mortuary in Aurora is in charge of arrangements.
