Sharen was born February 17, 1947 to parents James and Bernice White. She dedicated her life to caring for others, as a loving mother, sister, aunt, friend, and critical care nurse. She spent much of her nursing career in Iowa and Washington, and ultimately retired to Nebraska to be close to her brother.
Anyone who knew Sharen knows she never shied away from an adventure, and loved to travel. She also loved dominos, and Dairy Queen. She was a jokester. She leaned into her religion wholeheartedly, and spread love wherever she went. She was a member of the Faith Community Church in Aurora. Sharen also enjoyed the arts, and was always excited to attend local high school music and theatre events. Her most favorite pastime was spending time with family, especially around a campfire.
Sharen was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Penny Clay, sister Betty Rodamaker, and niece, Christian Hodge.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, Sheryl (Justin) Pratt of Rochester, WA, and David (Annette) Clay of Klemme, IA; 7 grandchildren, Shelby, Jared, Tyler (Kaytlynn), Gage, Shaelynn, Taylor (Tiana); and 3 great-grandchildren, Conner, Sawyer, and Grace. She is also survived by her two brothers, Jerry (Kathy) White of Hampton and Donald White of Iowa Falls, IA, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
