Nancy Laurene (Craft) Kuehner, age 90, of rural Phillips, passed away May 18, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. 
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home.  Dan Naranjo officiating.  Visitation will take place one hour before the service.  A private family interment will take place at the Phillips Cemetery.  
Nancy was born April 30, 1935 in Port Chester, New York to Eugene and Gertrude (Braun) Craft.  Growing up, her family lived in several states, as her father was a Seabee in the Navy. After his death, they settled in Grand Island, where she graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1952. 
Nancy was united in marriage to Richard Kuehner on March 23, 1963.  Nancy worked for the Credit Bureau then the ASCS office, both in Grand Island, before becoming a full-time farmwife.
Nancy was a very talented artist in all forms. She began crocheting, knitting, and quilting and later developed more of her artistic abilities as a painter, basket weaver, and her favorite, seed beading. She was active in seed beading groups in both Grand Island and Hastings. She enjoyed several trips with her crafting friends to perfect her skills at places like Camp Comeca in Cozad, where she both taught and participated in classes. She was also an art judge at the Hall County Fair.
Nancy was a member of the Deepwell Homemakers Club and the Busy Dozen Extension Club. She and Dick traveled to many countries, took several cruises, and spent 16 summers in Alaska before his death in 2023.
Nancy recently celebrated her 90th birthday and had a fantastic celebration with her family and friends.
Survivors include her brother, Eugene (Pauline) Craft of Hastings; nephew, Doug Craft of Tallahassee, FL; niece, Jan (Kevin) Armes of Hastings; niece, Jill (Kurt) Gibbs of Rosedale; sister in-law, Carolyn Kuehner of Doniphan;  niece, Karla (Jack) Obermeier of Grand Island; niece, Kenda Kuehner of Kearney; niece, Kaila (Clint) Mailahn of Denton; nephew, William (Jennie) Kuehner; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Cheri Appelhans.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Richard L. Kuehner, her parents, and brother-in-law, William V. Kuehner. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Phillips Cemetery.  Condolences can be left at www.giallfaiths.com.
