Lynn Kinne
Lynn Anthony Kinne, the son of Bryan and Lois (McConville) Kinne was born at McCook, Nebraska, on Jan. 11, 1974, and passed away on Feb. 25, 2026, at Aurora, Nebraska at the age of 52.
Lynn grew up in McCook and graduated from McCook High School in 1992. He started a paper delivery route and then went to work for Hinky Dinky in McCook before transferring to their Kearney Store. Lynn moved to Grand Island, where he worked at the U-Save Store, and the Aurora Mall, and that is where he met his future wife, Katie.
Lynn married Katie Socha on Aug. 25, 2001. They had two sons: Cooper and Weston. Lynn had a Pepperidge Farm route before working for Frito-O-Lay.
Lynn loved watching Tennessee Titan Football games and bowling. He was very proud of his sons, Cooper and Weston.
He was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Ron & Joan Socha; brother-in-law, John Socha and nephew, Wyatt Socha.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Katie; sons, Cooper and Weston all of Aurora; parents, Bryan & Lois Kinne of Grand Island; two brothers, Lonnie Kinne of Kearney and Larry (Dawn) Kinne of McCook; two sisters, Lori (Steve) Stein of Grand Island and Lanette Kinne of Grand Island and other family members and friends.
