‘Bird whisperer’ helps Edgerton rebuild raptor program

    “You’re gonna be an awesome teacher,” wildlife rescuer Tommy White said gently to the big barred owl he had just delivered to the Edgerton Explorit Center. As for the owl, who had just taken a three-day trip halfway across the country with White, he glared at the bearded man with his large brown eyes and snapped his beak loudly as a sort of warning that the man was in his personal space. ...
