Giltner Homecoming royalty crowned

The Hornets were on their way to a rollover victory over the Spartans at Friday night's Homecoming football game when a rain delay was called 10 minutes into the second half due to thunderstorms rolling through the area. After a lengthy delay in the game due to lightning strikes in the area, school officials decided to go ahead with the coronation ceremony in the gym. Congratulations to King Braxton Cady and Queen Jayci Buettner. The score of the game when the rain delay started was Hornets 34, Spartans 6. The Homecoming dance was postponed to a later date due to the lateness of the hour.
