Chamber to present awards Jan. 29

Plans are underway and invitations are going out for the annual Aurora Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet set to take place on Thursday, Jan. 29 at the Bremer Center. The event is being billed as “a special evening dedicated to celebrating the vibrant growth and achievements of our local business community.”
Nominations are currently being sought for the awards that will be given out during the evening. Those awards include: Business of the Year, Civic Business of the Year, Woman-Owned Business of the Year, the Rising Star Award and Community Leader of the Year. 
The evening will begin with a 5:30 p.m. social hour, followed by dinner and the program at 6:30 and a time of networking between 8 and 9 p.m. 
“This event is a cornerstone of our year, highlighting the dedication and innovation that drives our town,” Chamber Executive Director Tamar Jimenez said.
