Christine L. Lamprecht
Christine L. Lamprecht, 72, of Aurora, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, at Grand Island Regional Medical Center.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Aurora. Rev. Rudy Flores will officiate. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Norfolk. No visitation. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.higbymortuary.com.
Christine L. Lamprecht, the daughter of Gordon and Beth Elaine (Boulby) Nielsen was born in Central City on Jan. 11, 1953, and passed away in Grand Island, Nebraska on Dec. 28, 2025 at the age of 72.
She was baptized in the Fridham Lutheran Church in Hordville. Christine grew up in Modesto, Calif. and the family moved back to the Hordville area after her father’s death. She attended schools in the Hordville area.
Christine was married to Tim Lamprecht on May 9, 1970. They had two sons, Joe & Mike. They lived near Central City for 17 years close to the river where they had many fond memories jeeping on the river. They then lived in Norfolk for 8 years before moving to Saratoga, Wyo. She opened a thrift shop there called Bridge Street Bargains, which is a non-profit organization to help with the children of the community. This is still proudly going on to this day! They moved back to Aurora in 2015.
Christine was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved children and animals, both wild and domestic.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joe Lamprecht on July 19, 1996, nephew, Jeff Speidel and brother-in-law, Roger Schreiner.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tim of Aurora; son, Mike Lamprecht of Saratoga, Wyo.; three grandchildren, Jonah Lamprecht of Grand Junction, Colo., Mia Lamprecht and Everleigh of Rawlins, Wyo.; brother, Jeff (Marti) Nielsen of Aurora; sister, Rosanna Schreiner of Milford, many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
