    A series of rain storms moving through this area beginning Tuesday night have resulted in reports of up to 10 inches of rain in some areas over the past 48 hours. Six inches of rain were recorded in Central City since Tuesday evening, however, Greg Bonifas, five miles north of Aurora, reports just three inches in the same time period. The rains caused flooding in Grand Island and some roads are still closed this morning.

    More rain is in the forecast for Sunday night and Monday.
