Aurora coach, QB Knust provide tips on playing position
The Edgerton Explorit Center applied its hands-on learning philosophy to football last week, offering the first-ever Youth Quarterback Academy with a little help from the head Husky and Aurora’s starting quarterback. This week, future kickers are invited to join in the fun.
Coach Kyle Peterson said he was approached by Edgerton Executive Director Mary Molliconi about the concept of teaching some sport-specific lessons related to football and he was happy to oblige.
“We came up with the idea of putting on a quarterback camp and then next week we have a kicking camp which is going to be on kicking and punting,” Peterson explained. “We’re focusing on the specialists type of stuff.”
