Lauren Gibilisco
Lauren L. Gibilisco – November 16, 1986 – November 10, 2021.
Lauren was born in Omaha, but lived in Aurora most of her life. Lauren was a warrior and a ray of light. Witty, sweet, and smart. She would light up a room and fill it with laughter. Her life mission was to make people happy and would spend hours every day praying for other people. Lauren spent many of her days fundraising for research and a cure for Wolfram Syndrome.
In her honor, the family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to thesnowfoundation.org to help battle the fight and cure for Wolfram Syndrome.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Phil and Diane Gibilisco; aunts, Chris Nimps and Cindy Gibilisco; and uncle, Barry Dix.
She is survived by parents, Pat and Mike Gibilisco; sister, Megan Cuva (Andrew); niece and nephew, Olivia and Lorenzo Cuva; grandparents, Jim and Rita Willuhn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving relatives.
Visitation will be Monday, November 15, from 5-7 p.m. at West Center Chapel, 78th and Center, Omaha, followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held Tuesday, November 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 96th and Q, Omaha. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.
