    Aurora winning its first game of the season was the highlight for the area during week three of the high school football season. 

    The Huskies made the long road trip west and took care of business at Scottsbluff, moving to 1-2 on the season. 

    Hampton stayed close early, but lost a home contest with Stuart while Giltner and HPC each lost road games. 

    Listed are all area teams and the scores of those games with the winning team in bold:

    Aurora @ Scottsbluff, 43-22.

    Hampton vs Stuart, 52-20

    Giltner @ Loomis, 56-26
