Timely contact lifts Aurora past Centennial

Offense at the right time and another gem on the mound helped Aurora to its fourth home win in five tries.
The Lady Huskies defeated Centennial 6-1 at home Tuesday night after building an early lead and never looking back.
Taryn McKinney gave Aurora the lead in the first with a two-RBI double and a 2-0 advantage.
McKinney took that lead to the mound and pitched a complete game, allowing one run on four hits with 10 strikeouts.
Aurora scored four runs in the fifth with RBI help from Eva Fahrnbruch, Rylee Olsen and Kaelin Sparr.
The Lady Huskies (7-3) will be on the road Thursday at York.
