    Aurora held its annual fall pep rally ahead of the sports season set to begin later this week. 

    Husky fans, athletes and other activities groups gathered at the football field Tuesday to celebrate the start of the fall sports calendar. 

    The Aurora softball team begins its season Thursday with a home matchup against Lexington. The Lady Husky golf team plays at the Central City golf scramble while the volleyball team plays at the Columbus Scotus jamboree Thursday. 

    The football team holds its annual soap scrimmage Friday at 6 p.m. while the cross country team has its first race Aug. 27 at GINW.
