Violet Fisher

Violet Fisher, age 90, of Aurora, formerly of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026, at Memorial Community Care. 
Violet’s wishes were to be cremated.   Violet’s ashes will be taken back to Fort Collins, Colorado. Memorials may be made to the family to designate at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family through the mortuary website at www.higbymortuary.com
Violet M. Fisher, the daughter Victor and Florence (Miller) Voge was born at Nashville, Kansas on July 25, 1936, and passed away at Aurora, on September 18, 2026 at the age of 90. 
Violet grew up in Pratt, KS  and graduated from Pratt High School. She received three years of nurses training before becoming a Registered Nurse. After years of nursing Violet went to work at Hewlett Packard in Loveland, CO and worked there until her retirement. 
Violet married Dale L Fisher on April 4th, 1959 in  Topeka, KS. They lived for several years in Great Bend, KS before moving their family to Loveland, Co in 1974.  They had two children: Randy and Brenda. After the passing of her husband Violet moved to Aurora in 2015 to be closer to her daughter and grandson. 
She enjoyed reading and watching sports particularly football and basketball.  She also enjoyed time spent with family and visiting with friends. 
Violet was preceded in death by her husband and parents. 
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Brenda McFarlane of Aurora and son, Randy (Kristi) Fisher of Fort Collins, CO,  2 grandchildren Kelsie Fisher of Thornton, CO and Michael McFarlane of Aurora.  She is also survived by her brother  Darwin (Gloria) Voge of El Paso, TX and nephews and niece, and many other cousins and friends.
