Search for Proctors ends with closure

The search for Bob and Loveda Proctor of Aurora ended Saturday, giving the family a sense of closure. “Bob and Loveda Proctor have been found,” granddaughter Laci Fleming posted on Facebook early Saturday evening. “They are in heaven watching over us.

Hampton Hawks fly high with drone program

The Hampton Hawks are soaring to new heights after the introduction of a drone program last fall. Four high school students are taking part as Nebraska’s only drone team in Aerial Drone Robotics.

Fire departments kept busy this week

The Aurora Volunteer Fire Department responded to two fires caused by owners who had burn permits having embers from piles sparking out-of-control fires on Friday afternoon.
