Celebrating Christmas around the world in Aurora

The Ivy was festive Dec. 3 as students from the Education First exchange program gathered with their host families to celebrate holiday traditions together.

The sale of the Phillips Memorial Hall from the village to the Phillips Community Foundation took one more step toward becoming a reality at the December meeting of the village board on Dec. 5.

Aurora bowling team has fun with experiences to spare

The Westsides Lanes Bowling Alley was packed with teams alongside Aurora’s and their families Nov. 18, reflecting growing support for a Unified Bowling program that teaches life lessons far more valuable than how to knock down pins.

United Way tops $1.5M campaign goal

More than a decade after the Aurora Development Corporation purchased 135 acres along Highway 14 as a site targeting data center development, a 2.5-acre parcel was sold last week to a company planning to build an expandable 5 megawatt data center expected to be operational by the spring of 2024.
