'Marquette Improvement Repair’ takes lead on town lighting projects

    The Village of Marquette became brighter last week as over 400 white light bulbs on more than 900 feet of wire were strung up from the corner of Scotty’s Bar to Cornerstone Bank on Main Street.The lights were installed on Wednesday, Nov. 5 as part of “Marquette Improvement Repair,” an ongoing project to improve the village and boost community pride.
