Adam Seger was sworn in as a new member of the Aurora Police Department last week, bringing the force back to full staffing.
A native of Atkinson, Seger studied criminal justice at Northeast Community College before transferring to UNL to study fishery and wildlife. He moved to Aurora in 2018, when he started his career in law enforcement as a member of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department.
Seger changed the color of his uniform from brown to blue, officially becoming a member of the APD on Jan. 11.
