Ultimate Easter Egg Hunt draws large crowd

Body

The courthouse lawns were littered with more than 5,000 candy-filled and brightly colored Easter eggs at 1 p.m. on Saturday, all set for the second annual Ultimate Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Hamilton County Youth Center. Minutes later it was all over but the cracking and munching as the lawn had been picked clean of eggs by dozens of area youngsters eager to collect Easter treats. Above, kids in the Pre-K through 1st grade group sprint on to the lawn from the sidewalk starting line to begin the hunt. At right a pair of pre-school boys express delight in filling their baskets with eggs.
