    In total, Hamilton County athletes brought home 15 medals from last week’s state track and field championships at Omaha Burke Stadium. Highlighting those efforts was Aurora senior Jayden Slagle, who was the area’s lone gold medalist after earning top honors in the Class B triple jump, clearing 47-4.25.  Our complete state track and field coverage can be found starting on Page B1 of this week's print and e-editions of the Aurora News Register.
