Hampton graduation set for Saturday

Ferguson, Scherff to give valedictorian, salutatorian remarks

    Hampton High School will graduate the 11 seniors of the Class of 2026 on Saturday at the main gymnasium. The commencement exercises will take place at 2 p.m.
    The valedictorian speech will be given by Lofton Ferguson followed by a speech from Salutatorian Aydenn Scherff.  
    The class flower is the white rose and the class quote is from Edith Wharton: “There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.”
    In addition to Ferguson and Scherff, members of the Class of ‘26 include: Porter Dose, Wyatt Dose, Jaylah Gross, Ava Hurt, Kyler Luebbe, Kiersten Mersch, Tyler Mollevik, Maximus Mostek and Sophia Schulze.
