A new tool recently acquired by the art department at Hampton Public Schools is helping students learn 21st Century artistic skills and recently saved the new Hampton daycare center a great deal of money in recognizing those who had contributed to the project.
Mike Dudley is a professor at McPherson College in McPherson, Kan. For eleven years he has taught students within the college’s auto restoration program. It is the only college in the U.S. where a student earn a degree in automotive restoration.

Rick Goertzen has succeeded his father, Rod, as pastor of Countryside Bible Church south of Hampton. Goertzen took over as pastor in October, and says he has been striving to continue a welcoming and thriving environment at the church.

The Dorchester School Board has selected Giltner Supt. Nick Mumm to become Dorchester Public Schools’ new superintendent starting the next school year.Mumm has served as Giltner’s superintendent since July 2020 and will fully resign from his position at the end of 2024-2025 school year.

A Phillips-based manufacturing company is focused on its own building project now having outgrown its small base of operations along Highway 34.Traver DeMaranville has announced plans to move TC Machine about a mile west down the highway to a new 17,000 sq. ft.

Three Aurora High School seniors received their high school diplomas early at a graduation ceremony held Friday in the high school gym. The students who graduated at mid-term were Cierra Warnock, Jaden Smith and Alexis Moffett.
