Highway 14 farmer’s market open on Tuesdays coming this June

Organizer Vicki Hill is hosting a new farmer’s market on Tuesdays starting June 7 and continuing  all the way until fall on a site between the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and Griess Chiropractic/FUeL gym building on Highway 14.

Local artist to showcase exhibition at Cottonwood Gallery

Aurora’s Cottonwood Gallery & Arts is set to welcome an exhibition by local artist Madison Vetter. The exhibition, titled “Collected Works of Honest Fiction,” is a collection of mixed-media art done by the local, most of which aim to focus on the layers behind humans and society.

City council approves payments, construction on several projects near end

City council members voted for and passed a series of pay applications to construction companies for the South Interceptor (A Street) and Streeter housing subdivision additions, according to city administrator Rick Melcher.
