Phillips ordinance paves the way for keno

In a procedural move paving the way for a keno lottery machine to be operated at Winchester’s Saloon, the Phillips Village Board approved a lottery ordinance for the village in a special meeting held last Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Vetter to showcase ‘Batiks of Nature’ in Friday exhibit

Aurora resident Megan Vetter will be debuting her first art exhibition, “Batiks of Nature,” at the Flynn & Ivy on Friday, from 5-9 p.m.The exhibit will feature approximately 20 art pieces by Vetter in the style of batik, which involves using wax and resin dye on fabrics.
