As the five members of the Todd and Beth Gimpel family of Aurora prepare for Thanksgiving next week, their minds are going back to the same period of time four years ago when oldest daughter Trinidi was recovering from a devastating car accident.

Voter turnout high locally for General Election

Predictions of high voter turnout for last Tuesday’s General Election in Hamilton County turned out to be accurate, as 81 percent of registered voters voted either by mail, drop off or at the polls. In all, 5,641 ballots were cast in the county out of a total of 6,963 registered voters.
