Washington, D.C., has long been the hub for policy -- foreign and domestic. It also happens to be a center of American history. Hamilton County Corn Growers President Mike Bergen has recently returned from a trip to the nation’s capital.

ALPHA program challenges Huskies to become leaders

Calling eight young men on the Aurora football team alpha dogs, or leaders of the pack, isn’t just a metaphor. It’s a title, in fact a badge of honor, earned as part of a new leadership development program Coach Kyle Peterson said has exceeded his expectations in its debut year.

Grain Place plans for leadership transition

A mission to grow crops organically and protect the soil on the Vetter family’s 280-acre farm near Marquette is on the verge of a transition, both in terms of ownership and leadership. Established officially in 1978, The Grain Place has grown in scope and stature.
