Wood rounds out HPC career with highlight performance

Tanner Wood closed out his High Plains athletic career in impressive fashion.  Wood set a new PR in the pole vault while just missing out on the medalstand and helped the 400 relay team to one of its best times of the season during the state track and field meet last week.

Block of wood helps keep Hordville School’s memory alive

A simple block of zebrawood sat in the Hordville industrial arts room in the 1970s. There it was a staple that the high school shop teacher, Phil Downs, would show each incoming class.
