Giltner native Lyle Reab was killed in action while fighting in Germany during WWII. After his previously unidentified remains were officially tied to Reab, the journey started to get this WWII hero home.

Lyle Wayne Reab was born near Giltner on Nov. 10, 1921, died on Nov. 9, 1944 and will be laid to rest with his family on June 8, 2021.
