The Phillips Board of Trustees held an in-depth  conversation with head of maintenance Scott Hooley March 7 regarding one of three options to solve the village’s uranium level in well water, primarily to receive funding from the EPA to link Phillips and Giltner to Grand Island for water treatment.
Professional engineer Chris Miller, of Miller & Associates Consulting Engineers, P.C., gave an update to the Phillips Village Board last week on the steps and necessity of resolving the uranium quantity in one of the village’s wells as reported last summer.
