Scare the Square will be boo-ming back in spook-tacular fashion Thursday at 5 p.m. on the courthouse parking lot with the downtown square closed at 4 p.m. to make way for all the little boys and ghouls who will be out trick-or-treating the brick-laden road.
After a lengthy discussion on the county’s proposed (and now approved) budget for the 2022-23 fiscal year, the Hamilton County Board of Commissioners meeting took regular form Monday, quickly bringing up a few upcoming holiday favorites.

Back for another year of spooktacular fun, Scare the Square will take over the bricks surrounding the courthouse for a night of family-friendly -- and safe -- fun.  The event, scheduled for Oct. 29 from 5-7 p.m. will look a little different this year, however.
