Mail-in ballot plan stirs reaction

More than 20 local residents voiced their opposition to a proposal to convert Hamilton County to all mail-in ballots Monday in a hour-long public hearing which included input from a state elections official.

Hamilton County commissioners had a familiar topic in front of them again Monday -- a proposed all-mail election format. Hamilton County clerk and election commissioner Jill DeMers approached the board to see how she might move forward in gathering public opinion on the matter.
