Hampton residents past and present raised more than $10,000 Saturday in a scholarship fundraiser honoring the late Kyle Ediger, pushing the fund's grand total to more than $40,000.

Out of concern for the safety of its own community, the staff and board of Aurora’s Edgerton Explorit Center have decided to cancel the annual holiday fundraiser celebration.
