The Village Square retail cooperative is moving out of its current location on the east side of the downtown square in the coming weeks to the former Cottonwood Gallery & Arts location on the south side of the plaza due to a change in building ownership. Aurora’s Cottonwood Gallery & Arts is set to welcome an exhibition by local artist Madison Vetter. The exhibition, titled “Collected Works of Honest Fiction,” is a collection of mixed-media art done by the local, most of which aim to focus on the layers behind humans and society.

A big milestone for the heart of the art culture in Aurora is coming to fruition in the form of Cottonwood Gallery & Arts’ first ever juried art show.  The event will welcome over 20 different artists from all over Nebraska, as well as visitors to the gallery, April 7 from 5-8 p.m.
